Mold In Impossible to Reach places

This Apartment unit had water leaking from a P-Trap from the apartment above and our SERVPRO technicians found mold lurking behind the drywall during the initial scope. The difference in these two pictures to the average person might be minuscule, but to the trained eye there has been disinfection of mold spores. Our technicians treated the metal studs in the wall with antimicrobial and HEPA vacuumed the area as well. This process of treating mold eliminates any mold spores and/or colonies to prevent the mold from growing back again. The process does of remediation on mold does not work correctly unless the source of moisture is is also eliminated, otherwise mold will continue to grow with the steady supply from a moisture source. This is why it is so important to extract any sitting water in your home.
